Get Involved

The most useful things you can do are: try the tool and share your feedback, tell a colleague who might find it useful, and if you are willing, break down some curriculum content into chunks, export your data, and share it.

Who is this tool for?

This tool is designed for anyone who works with curriculum: classroom teachers, student teachers, curriculum leaders, school curriculum leaders, district leaders, departments of education, state curriculum managers, university lecturers, curriculum experts, and ACARA itself. More specifically, it is built for anyone who wants to understand the curriculum, transform it into teaching and learning programs, and provide concise feedback.

A note on teacher workload

This tool is ultimately designed for classroom teachers to help them plan.

The tool does ask teachers to do a fair amount of work upfront, and while that work builds genuine curriculum understanding, teachers are simply not given the time to do it.

In order to save teacher time, the workflow tasks in this tool could be completed, or partially completed, in advance by a central person or body.

This means time-poor teachers would simply import the transformed data for more direct use.
