Quick Start¶
This application has a number of pages, each designed for a particular task. The general process moves from breaking down curriculum content into manageable pieces, enriching those pieces with detail, grouping them into units, and finally placing those units into a plan.
This guide briefly introduces each page. For more detail see the main guide and for a general overview of the application see this overview.
Breakdown¶
Explore the curriculum and break content entities (standards) down into chunks (focus statements).
Chunks¶
Prepare each chunk by categorising it as declarative or procedural knowledge, rating its priority, mapping prerequisites, and adding assessment items.
Units¶
Create units by grouping related chunks together. Use the gap report to check nothing has been missed, and export a unit plan report when ready.
Learner¶
Create a learner that represents a student or a whole class. You can add chunks to a learner and track the progress of each chunk.
Feedback¶
Generate feedback emails to ACARA from the items you flagged during breakdown and chunk preparation.
Settings¶
Download learning areas and manage your data. Export your work to share with colleagues, or import a colleague's data to build on their planning.
